inner fire, outer light retreat – park city, ut sept 18-21

There is no such thing as too many retreats, and fall is a great time to step away from the day-to-day and consider how you’ll be spending the next 6 months.

I’ll be joining host Patricia Morrison, Dr. Giavanni Washington and Delaine Due for another long weekend of relaxation and inspiring workshops. We’re still pulling together the curriculum, but you can be sure it will blend music, art and theory in ways that will kickstart your business or  creative endeavors.

Whether you need to get something done (outline a project, revamp your routine, evaluate your options) or just get away (food! music! stars in the nighttime sky!), there’s nothing better than a great retreat.

More details here.

inner fire, outer light retreat – santa fe, nm april 16-19

“In order to understand the world, one has to turn away from it on occasion.” — Albert Camus

Turning away and turning inward totally turns me on.

I’ve always been a huge fan of retreats. There’s no better way to clear your head, solve a problem, brainstorm a new idea (or 10!) or just catch up on a good long nap, than to get away from the every day.

My ideal retreat would include some creative time, some me time, some time to make new friends, some time to check out a place I’ve never been, some time to breathe air I’ve never breathed before. Oh, and great food.

This one’s got art therapy, percussion healing, creative lifework and writing… and it’s all happening at Synergia Ranch in Santa Fe in April. It checks all my boxes, baby!

Please check this link for more info on the beautiful facilities and inspiring facilitators for this Spring’s Inner Fire Outer Light Retreat in Santa Fe, New Mexico.

improve your relationship with writing in just 6 weeks

Autumn is finally here! The air smells crisp, the sun hangs low, and the change of light inspires me to turn inward to review the year.

While some folks may check in on their relationships, health or bottom-dollar growth, I confess: the first thing I check in on is my writing.

So what I want to know from you is:

How’s your writing going?

If you’ve always wanted to write but never dared…

Or never have the time to write even though you have time to do everything else…

Or maybe you’ve written tons but never been published…

CONSIDER THE “END 2014 WRITE” – FALL WORKSHOP

Working with me, writers learn to commit to their writing practice, quiet their inner critic, receive and incorporate valuable feedback and get their stories into the world so they can become the writer they’ve always wanted to be: writers who write and get read!
